Reply to weekly lesson

I thought the information to be learned this week was quite interesting. I read through the post done by the Navy first. My first Ah-ha moment came when the subject of balance came up. I knew that a picture needed to have some form of balance to it. However I was unaware of how many different way there where to give balance to a photograph. My other Ah-ha moment in this reading was the part about foreground and background. I have always though keep it simple when it comes to photography. It was nice to learn that keeping the background simple helps emphasize the subject of the photo, or even blurring it will allow to let the subject pop-out. As well as the reverse, if your emphasis is on the background, let the foreground be simple. I also really enjoyed looking at the pictures of of photography mad.com, learning from examples helps give preview to the information learned, especially with vibrant scenes that are easy to remember.
