I apologize to everyone for my late post. I used my camera on a ski trip a few weeks ago where it did not make it back, I am still waiting for my new one to come. Because of my camera issue, I decided to share a few pictures from my semester with NOLS. I took this semester in the Rocky Mountains last fall. I looked for pictures that matched the point of view structures, where i could remember playing around with the settings on the camera.( The photo above was taken just on the eastern side of the continental divide. In the picture is Lizard head peak, as well as another student on the trip.)
( The picture to the left is of a cow jaw, something which is a common find in Bryce canyon of southern Utah.)
( The picture to the right is on the ridge of a canyon where we spent the night. Also in Bryce Canyon. The picture below is of the same spot with our tent on it. This was taken the next morning.)
Very beautiful but also very desolate. They make it look like you could hop in the pictures and be transported.

ReplyDeleteToo bad you couldn't do the assignment Sean, but maybe by viewing your classmate's you get the idea? I love the jawbone, great point of view there and your bird's eye view of the tent is cool also.
