I really had fun playing around with this assignment. I played around with pictures of different things I enjoy seeing and doing. While also trying to capture something unique to add texture. The blue in the bottom is a plastic bag and the background is a vase in the restaurant I work at. Took about 200 pictures playing around and used the scattered format in Picasa, because I really like the way it looks like someone just dropped the pictures on a table. Very fun!
Nice collage! I especially like the nutcrackers singing at the microphone, or at least that is what it looks like! I can tell you like blues and blacks and definitely baseball! What is the red picture?
ReplyDeleteSean great job, I love the different variety, angles, light, etc. Glad you had fun doing it. Most of your pictures seem like everyday life. The one of the coffee and the ones that you took from work, and that is cool to see.
ReplyDeleteI like the edgy, sort of everyday feel this collage portrays through the variety of photos. Very American. I like how some photos draw your attention a bit more to others that help paint the background.
ReplyDeleteYou collage is deffinitely orginal. It helps me get to know you better as well. I really like how you have a mixture of dark colors, light colors and bright colors because it makes the different pictures stand out even if they are partely hidden.

ReplyDeleteI like how you used the scatter option in Picasa. I'm not sure if I have a different version, but I will need to work with it more to get used to the options. I liked the varity - and of course the Red Sox items! The blue in the bottom really adds some nice color to the collage. Nice job!

ReplyDeleteI definitely think that choosing to scatter the photos on Picasa worked out great! My collage just didn't look right using this option, but yours looks great! Its amazing how depending on what we photo might depend on what works for a collage layout.
I like it! My only suggestion would be that one of the back photos looks like it has writing on it, and it would look great up front so we could read it, but the collage in general must really be a lot of who you are which was great to see! Overall I really enjoyed it and thought it was great!!!

ReplyDeleteI've really enjoyed getting a glimpse of people through their collages. And, yours is definitely one that shows us more about you from running on Dunkin to the Red Sox. The scatter feature works great with this selection of photos too.
